Día de la Raza is the name for the holidays celebrated on October 12th in most of the latinamerican countries, in commemoration of the discovery of land by sailor Rodrigo de Triana in 1492, after sailing for over two months under orders of Cristobal Colon, which would be later called America.

Columbus day was established in Argentina in 1917, after a decree of president Hipolito Yrigoyen, as a reafirmation of the latinamerican identity in front of the United States and the Monroe doctrine.

Día de la Raza es el nombre que reciben en la mayoría de los países hispanoamericanos las fiestas del 12 de octubre en conmemoración del avistamiento de tierra por el marinero Rodrigo de Triana en 1492, luego de haber navegado más de dos meses al mando de Cristóbal Colón a lo que posteriormente se denominaría América.-

The town of Villa Gesell is located in the Province of Buenos Aires, on the shores of the Argentine Sea, 350 km of the Federal Capital.

Its main attraction is the beach, where you can practice different types of water sports.

The city offers you different kinds of activities like, crossing into 4x4 ATV,  Querandí Lighthouse ridding up to the Dunas North Reserve, also quads or bike rides around the beach or the city.

The city has an excellent  infrastructure to have fun,  and also to relax in the silence of the amazing views. You can also enjoy different kinds of restaurants, pubs, and night clubs ready to welcome people of all ages.

During your stay in the city you must visit the Zootemathic park  “adventures in the forest” whit their animal reserve, challenging natural mazes, train trips, the Reserva Natural del Faro Querandí, and the handcraft tour and fair.

In its pedestrian street, countless outdoor performances, and different shows are set up to call the attention of adults, youngs and childrens.

La ciudad balnearia de Villa Gesell esta ubicada en la Provincia de Buenos Aires, sobre las costas del mar Argentino, a 350 km de la Capital Federal

Su principal atractivo es la playa donde se pueden practicar distintos tipos de deportes náuticos. Its main attraction is the beach where you can practice different types of water sports.

La ciudad ofrece múltiples actividades: Desde travesías en 4x4 ATV hasta el Faro Querandí hasta cabalgatas por la Reserva Dunas Norte y/o paseos en cuatriciclos o bicicleta por la playa o la ciudad.

Dispone de una excelente infraestructura tanto para el relax como para el esparcimiento. Gran cantidad de restaurantes, pubs y discotecas preparados para recibir a público de todas las edades.
