Malba Museum

It is located in Palermo neighborhood, and it is one of the most modern museums of our city.

In 1998, entrepeneur Eduardo Constantini call everyone for an international contest to design a museum that would allow him to atore his art collection permanently (it was stored in the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes until 1995)

It was opened in 2001 and the building is covered by chalky stone and has great areas of glass and iron.

It stores over 200 pieces, between piantings, sculptures, objects and photographs of several latinamerican artists of the XX century, such as Frida Kahlo, Wilfredo Lam, Diego Rivera, Jorge de la Vega, Guillermo Kuitca and Joaquien Torres-García

Apart from the collection, in the museum there's also a cinema, a coffee place, souvenier stores and a book store.

Esta ubicado en el Barrio de Palermo y se de uno de los museos más modernos de nuestra Ciudad.-

En el año 1998, el empresario Eduardo Constantini convocó a un concurso internacional para diseñar un museo que le permitiera alojar su colección de manera permanente (hasta 1995, la misma se exhibía en el Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes).-

Se inauguró en el año 2001 y el edificio está revestido de piedra caliza y tiene grandes superficies de vidrio y acero.-

Son más de 200 piezas entre pinturas, grabados, esculturas, objetos y fotografías de los diferentes artistas de varios artistas latinoamericanos del Siglo XX, entre ellos Frida Kahlo, Wilfredo Lam, Diego Rivera, Jorge de la Vega, Guillermo Kuitca y Joaquien Torres-García.-

Tandil

It is 370 km away from Buenos Aires and it is a great alternative to enjoy the tranquility of the "serrano" landscape, breathe fresh air, go for a walk and enjoy some adventure tourism, among other offers, since it has an ideal microclimate to get away from routine and get some rest.

Some of the things you can do in the city are city-tour, visit a farm, go horseback riding, go trekking, rent a bicicle, a canoe, go parachuting, go fishing, play golf, among other sports.

An attraction you can't miss is the Artificial Lake, created to mantain the water coming from the mountain range. The reservoir has 20 hectares aprox.

A traditional visit is the Parque Independencia. From it highest peak (286.5 meters over the sea level) you get a panoramic view of the city.

From all the attractions this city offers, the most poular among locals and turists is the Moving Rock (Piedra Movediza), a 300-ton rock that swings at the edge of the abyss over an imperceptible base.

5 km away from the city one can find the El Centinela hill, and over Don Bosco ave, La Cascada and Sierra del Tigre, ideal places to rest and enjoy a day in the open air.

It has an important infraestructure when it comes to lodging: beautiful hotels with spa services, comfortable cabins on the hills, and for the young ones, hostels and campings.

The gastronomic offer is also wery wide. There are many restaurants, barbeques, pizzerias, coffee places and bars.

Tandil

Tandil es una ciudad ubicada al sudeste de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, en la Pampa Húmeda, sobre la cadena serrana del Sistema de Tandilia.-

Se halla a 370 km de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires y se presenta como una excelente alternativa para disfrutar de la tranquilidad del paisaje serrano, respirar aire puro, realizar caminatas, y turismo aventura, entre otras propuestas, ya que cuenta con un microclima ideal para alejarse de la rutina habitual y descansar.-

En la Ciudad se pueden hacer city-tour, visitas a estancias, cabalgatas, trekking, escaladas, alquilar cuatriciclos, bicicletas, canoas, pasear en aerosillas o planeadores, tirarse en paracaídas o practicar pesca o golf, entre otros deportes.-

Una atracción que no se puede dejar de visitar es el Lago Artificial creado para mantener las aguas provenientes de las sierras. El embalse tiene aproximadamente 20 hectáreas.-

Un tradicional paseo es la visita al Parque Independencia.- Desde su pico mas alto (286.5 metros sobre el nivel del mar) se tiene una vista panorámica de la Ciudad.-

De todos los paseos que ofrece esta importante ciudad, el que se instalo con mas fuerza entre locales y turistas fue el de la Piedra Movediza, una roca de mas de 300 toneladas que oscilaba al borde de un abismo sobre una base imperceptible.

A 5 km de la Ciudad se encuentra el cerro El Centinela y sobre la Av. Don Bosco, La Cascada y la Sierra del Tigre, lugares ideales para descansar y disfrutar de un día al aire libre.

Cuenta con una importante infraestructura en materia de alojamiento: hermosos hoteles con servicios de spa, confortables cabañas en las sierras, estancias donde pasar una noche y para los mas jóvenes hosterías y camping.

La oferta gastronómica también es amplia.- Cuenta con varios restaurantes, parrillas, pizzerías, confiterías y bares.
