Version)Lujan It is a city located 70 km away from Capital Federal. On the north it borders with the Partido de Exaltación de la Cruz, on the northeast with Pilar, on the east with General Rodriguez, on the southeast with Mercedes and on the west with San Andrés de Giles. Its urban center is located on the banks of the Lujan River. Its main touristic source and point of interest is the religious catholic center and the pilgrimages to the sanctuary of the Basílica de Nuestra Señora de Luján, known world wide and visited every year by thousands of followers. However, the appeal of the city does not limit to the Basilica The city offers a "Historic graphic museum complex", one of the most important of the country and one of the biggest of America. It started to come alive because of the two oldest buidings ob Buenos Aires: the Cabildo and Casa del Virrey, both declared as National Historic Monument in 1942. The Museum of Transport and numerous colections were later added. To enjoy some spare time and rest, the city offers a green space of aprox 3 hectares, known as Parque Ameghino The zoo of Lujan invites children to live an unforgettable and unique experience. It offers the possibility of touching, petting and feeding the animals and more activities. The offer of Rural Tourism of Lujan comes complete with many restaurants with creole cooking, shows of taming and folklore and warm rural spaces.

en Español) Su centro urbano se encuentra a orillas del Río Lujan.- Su principal fuente turística y de interés se basa en un centro religioso católico y de peregrinaciones al santuario de la Basílica de Nuestra Señora de Luján, reconocida mundialmente y visitada año a año por miles de fieles.- Sin embargo, el atractivo de esta ciudad bonaerense no se agota en la visita a la Basílica.
